TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Organiser

STEM Teacher FeST 2025 ("Organizer," "we," "us") is organized by Science Centre Singapore. The Conference will be held in person on 18 November 2025 at Nanyang Polytechnic.

2. Acceptance

By registering via https://stemfest2025.emsevents.com.sg/320/participation_form you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register.

3. Eligibility

Registrants must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter these Terms. Organisations registering on behalf of individuals warrant they have permission to do so.

4. Registration

• Registration is complete when confirmation is emailed to you.
• Organiser may cancel incomplete registrations after the deadline.

5. Cancellation & Transfer

• Cancellation: cancallations must be submitted in writing to steminc@science.edu.sg.
• Substitutions: Registrations are transferable to another attendee if Organiser is notified in writing by 17 November 2025. Organiser may require ID for the substitute.
• Event Cancellation/Rescheduling: If Organiser cancels or reschedules the in-person Conference, registrants will be offered replacement ticket for the same or similar event on a different date and/or venue. Organiser is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other incidental costs.

6. Program Changes and Speakers

Organiser may modify program, sessions, or speakers without prior notice. Advertised speakers/topics are subject to change.

7. Venue Rules, Health & Safety

• Attendees must follow venue rules and onsite policies.
• Organiser may implement health and safety measures (e.g., screening, mask requirements) as permitted by law; failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
• Attendees are responsible for personal safety and belongings.

8. Attendee Conduct Harassment, discrimination, or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated. Organiser may remove attendees for violations. Unauthorised commercial activity or solicitation is prohibited.
9. Recording, Photography & Media

• Personal recording of sessions is prohibited unless prior written consent is granted by Organiser.
• By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded and to Organiser’s use of such media for promotional, educational, or archival purposes unless you notify Organiser in writing at steminc@science.edu.sg before the Conference.

10. Materials and Intellectual Property

Conference materials are for personal use only. Presentations and materials are protected by copyright and remain the property of the presenter or Organiser unless stated otherwise. Speakers grant Organiser a non-exclusive license to record and use their materials for Conference-related purposes.

11. Accessibility

Accessibility requests should be sent to steminc@science.edu.sg at least 3 working days before the Conference. Organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests.

12. Liability and Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Organiser and its affiliates are not liable for personal injury, property loss/damage, or indirect/special damages arising from attendance. Organiser’s total liability for claims related to the Conference is limited to the amount paid for registration fees.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Organiser harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your actions at the Conference.

14. Third-Party Vendors and Links

Organiser may list or provide third-party services (e.g., travel, hotels, sponsors). Organiser is not responsible for third-party services or policies.

15. Force Majeure

Organiser is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, government actions, strikes). Organiser may postpone or cancel; remedies may include refund of registration fees or credit toward a future event.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution (Singapore)

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You and the Organizer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect of any dispute, claim or matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the registration process, or attendance at the Conference.

17. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Organiser regarding Conference registration.
